Lunch for Less

I went to the wet market one day and saw a mountain of very fresh krill "alamang" (small shrimps used to make whatelse -- bagoong alamang). So I thought that for a change I will make "torta" (omelet??" out of it. I was actually excited that day because it cost only 40php per kilo and 1/4 kilo could feed a family of 6 - 8. This dish is also perfect for baon, may it be for school (for the kids or college students) or office, since it's dry and does not spoil easily.

Tortang Alamang (Krill Omelet)
Ingredients:
1/4 kilo Krills (Alamang)
1 egg
All purpose flour
1 small of packet seasoning (e.g. maggi magic sarap)
salt and pepper to taste
How to do it:
1. Wash the krills well because seaweeds and other debris could mix into the krills.
2. Mix all the ingredients together. Just eyeball the amount of all purpose flour in such a way that the consistency is inbetween a cookie batter and a pancake batter. Not to sticky yet not too runny.
3. Fry in a non-stick pan until golden brown.
