PROJECT CARBON NEUTRAL

Today, the Project Carbon Neutral was launched in our school.  Too bad I wasnt able to attend the launching because I had class during that time.  Anyway, the goal of Project Carbon Neutral is to -- well -- to balance our carbon emission with activities that will offset them, like, planting trees for example.

From this day, I promise to contribute to Project Carbon Neutral by making our environment greener in my own little ways... I will start with the following:
 Green Bag

Yes! I will make it a point to use my green bag whenever I go to the supermarket.  Or use bayong if I go to the wet market.  This would lessen the plastic that would pollute our mother earth.
I say:  NO TO STYRO

Aside from styro being non-biodegradle.  Did you know that styrene, a component of styro, is toxic?  It will be released when heat is applied to styro (READ:  PLACING HOT FOOD!).  So to keep ourselves and mother earth healthy, lets all say:  NO TO STYRO!
Plant A Tree
Trees will absorb carbon, thus helping us in achieving a Carbon Neutral Environment.  Additionally, planting a tree is one "must do" in life.  They say that if you have done/achieved the following, you can die a contented person:  1.  Plant a Tree; 2.  Write a book; 3.  Get married or enter the seminary or convent.  How about you? Are you ready to die a contented person?
